Mystery/ Thriller in which the power goes out in a city and a girl is going around branding men with a cigarette

I remember bits and pieces from a book I read about a year ago, can’t remember the name:
-the cover of the book was a picture of a city
-in the book, the power goes out
-the beginning is with a group (coworkers?) go to a comedy club, one is on crutches and they leave when the power goes out and catch a cab
-another viewpoint of the book, a couple who’s apartment is being renovated is out for the night, and a couple of the renovation workers go break into a safe in their closet. At the end, they are walking down the road in the dark with the stolen goods in a backpack.
-there is a girl who is taking a midnight stroll with a man she just met, drinking champagne and she somehow drunks him and then brands him with her cigarette lighter
-there’s a scene with a group in a bar that someone’s sister finds her brothers (the one who was branded) ring on the toilet in the bathroom.
-the brother and sisters parents live out of state, i remember the dad having money and searching through the town for his son in an expensive car
-it’s one of the stories that you get multiple view points and they all tie together at the end
