Francisco Villate (rhalzahi) | 41 comments How can you control your thoughts and achieve peace in the middle of this chaotic world?

An extract from the Book:

"We cannot avoid pain: painful events can happen. But we can avoid suffering. Suffering is reliving, over and over again, that painful event.
If you keep that memory alive, you will only cause more suffering. You are free to suffer if it helps you, but you must know that it is your choice to continue to do so."

The book is about the writer’s experience conducting meditation courses to control stress. It is available in Kindle and Paperback formats. If you go to the Authors page, you can download a free PDF (no need to give your email address, just a direct download)

It is enjoyable to read it because it is like having a vacation in a friend's house in the mountains.

Meditation is not a religious practice. It is a technique for anybody, without any philosophical or religious bias.
