Dragons of Pern - Anne McCaffreyAnne just made the dragons and Pern just so realistic and believable.
right now definitley Old Man's War by John Scalzi. I'm on my second read through, I rarely re-read unless its just that good.

Not a lot of indie readers here... But I'll give props to my fav indie series for me - if you're into world-building Sci-fi with a very unique storyline, the A.I. Insurrection trilogy is so good.

It is a challenging question; I've enjoyed so many series: Harlan Coben, Jonathan Kellerman, Nicci French, John Sanford, Janet Evonovich, Sue Gafton- the list could go on and on and on. it is Nancy Drew that started my passion for reading. Thank you Carolyn Keene, AKA Mildred Wirt Benson.

Hands down my favorite series is the Red Rising series. Absolute epic sci-fi.
The Starbridge series by Susan Howatch is very interesting and, in my opinion, quite underrated.

Beverley Lewis (Abrams daughter’s). I absolutely loved this series, I was hooked on the storyline from the first one to the last one. I’m not into romance but the storyline was so good I just had to read them all. It shows you that secrets and deceit even if you think they are in the name of love are not a good thing for anyone. All things get found out but it takes a long time and people get hurt and lives sometimes get ruined. I encourage you to read her books and let me know your thoughts.

One I used to read as a child but just hasn't come close to any series I've read since is Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda c:
The Dowser Series by Meghan Ciana Doidge and then there are others that are right up there like The leveling up series by KF Breene, The Nocturne Falls series by molly harper, The ruinous love trilogy by Brynne Weaver, The Into Darkness series by Navessa Allen are of the top of my head right now. There are others.
I don't read series that much. But it would probably be Anne Rice's Vampire books. There is a historical romance series I like very much. It's the Pennyroyal Green series by Julie Anne Long. Maybe Cruel Prince three books by Holly Black. Or the first 3 books by Leigh Bardugo. That's it. I read more standalones.
I was obsessed with Harry Potter as a child - still am. But also ACOTAR❤️
