Nicholas Perez | 27 comments Please, correct the page numbers for this specific hardcover edition of A Flame in Byzantium. It should be 400 pages, not 470. ISN is 9780312930264

Greg | 9732 comments Hi Nicholas,

WorldCat is the preferred source for page counts for printed books and they have this one listed with 470 pages (which is currently listed on the book page). I've found other sources that have 566 pages.

Do you have the book in hand? Is there nothing after page 400? Some things we can count and others we cannot.

Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions.

We don’t count the pages used for advertisements, preview chapters for other books or introductory material paged using roman numerals.

Thanks.

Hi, Greg! I do own a physical copy of the book and there's nothing after the 400th page besides a few blank pages. Looking at the dust jacket, it does say Book Club Edition at the bottom though.

Greg | 9732 comments Book Club editions usually have fewer pages because a smaller font is used. Also, book club editions don't usually have an ISBN printed on the cover (or at least they didn't used to).

There is a book club edition listed on Goodreads (next to last one) and I added the page number. You could switch to that edition.

Thank you. I will put in another request later to have the cover added. It's the same one, but I know requests have to be separate here
