random person who exists | 4 comments Personally I have the bad habit of reading like 4 books at a time, but when I’m done I usually take maybe like a couple day break.

message 153: by Deviki (new)

Deviki | 9 comments Depends on the last book I've read. If the last book was bad I do take a longer break before starting a new book.....I feel like this allow me to start fresh

But usually about 2 - 3 days max

Farhana Thamiz (farhanathamiz) | 7 comments Slowly becoz I need to digest
that previous book 🤓

Cheri Bernard | 1 comments Immediately if it’s an audio book- it’s a habit. I usually am also reading a book and I will wait at least a day or two to start a new read.

message 156: by Kitty (new)

Kitty Yu | 7 comments Usually the same day I finished a book

message 157: by June (new)

June | 19 comments I usually begin a new 📚 within an hour of completing the current one.
I use this time to write my book review or just decompress, disengage and bid final farewell to characters that have enlightened and entertained me, now gracefully exiting the lights, stage left for the last time.

Happy Booker (naturejoy) | 2 comments I read more than one book at a time. Once I finish a book I am ready to read the next that I've already started. I like having a few or more on my table that I've started to avoid a book coma from the last page of a very good book!

Yes! 🙌🏼 Absolutely, the answer I was going to give. Add in an Audio going, too. I have 60 Books to Review, it seems like forever ago that the Goodreads Top Reads of this year were selected. I already read those a couple of years ago. I put Books near my Bedstand as A Reminder ~You Bought Those Recently, Perhaps Read Now before the Year is Up 🤣

Sam (samanthacoo) | 31 comments If I’m in a huge reading slump, it takes me a few days. When I’m on a roll, I go straight to a new book or the next book in a series.

Puneet Aggarwal | 2 comments As someone who writes and reads in the self-help space, I found it incredibly enlightening. I just can’t stop exploring and learning more from it.

message 162: by Nitoy (new)

Nitoy Gonzales (nitoymgonzales) | 2 comments It depends. If the last read was awesome, I excited and motivated to dive in quick. But if I need space for letting the story sink in or if I'm busy doing something else, I'll read once I have time.

message 163: by Maya (new)

Maya | 3 comments It depends if the book is really good I might take a day but usually as soon as I finish it I start a new one xx
