Hello All, I am seeking thoughtful Beta readers for my manuscript entitled, Loving Missing Things. The story is 89,367 words and is written in the genre of magical realism. It is my second book. Here's a brief description: Ana and Donny MacDonald come from nothing. Though, these days they have everything—top of the line, at the top of the heap. They make good partners. Ana with her far-reaching ancestral lineage of extrasensory perception and Donny with his rational sensibilities, hardened jaw, and tender heart. But when a freak urban wildfire strips them of their sense of security, it turns out their privilege is more of a distraction than an opportunity for a good life. Soon enough it becomes painfully clear that things aren't always what they seem to be and while that makes Ana crazy, Donny learns that burning down their lives is the only way to really understand how to live at home and in relationship to family.
