I believe your request is to change the cover."
This thread is not to request a change to the cover art, and in fact, changing the cover art is against Goodreads policy unless the art is outright incorrect.
An Alternate Cover Edition is what happens when a publisher releases an edition of a book that has the same ISBN as the previous edition, but new cover art. It's Goodreads policy to list the new edition as separate from the old one and move the ISBNs from the old edition to the new one. If you haven't read the article about it in the librarian manual, you can find more detail here: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

I bump the thread once a week as per Goodreads policy. My last reply was as part of a conversation with a librarian, as is this one.

I forgot to close
Already Exists, Just search using the ISBN number.

If you are unable to make an Alternate Cover Edition for whatever reason, please just let me know so I can ask another librarian to revert your incorrect cover art change and make the ACE.

This section is for adding unlisted books. I entered the ISBN number in the search and found the edition listed, so the request is closed.

You seem to fundamentally misunderstand what an alternate cover edition is. The cover art does not need to be changed. A new edition using the old ISBN needs to be created. You are not carrying out what I requested in the OP of this thread, and by changing the already-correct cover art instead of creating an ACE, you have violated Goodreads policy.
I'll start a thread elsewhere to revert your incorrect edit and have another librarian create the required Alternate Cover Edition. You may want to re-read the librarian manual's instructions on what an Alternate Cover Edition is and how to create it.
EDIT: Another librarian reverted the invalid cover art change. Will also find another librarian to create the ACE. Marking the thread as closed since it's clear no further progress is being made here.

Since the death of his wife seven years ago, documentary maker Aoyama has not dated anyone else. Now even his teenage son, Shige, thinks that he should remarry and his best friend Yoshikawa comes up with a plan: to hold fake film auditions from which he can choose a new bride. Of the thousands who apply, it is a beautiful ballerina, Yamasaki Asami, who captivates Aoyama. Infatuated by her fragile nature and nervous smile, he ignores his increasing sense of unease, putting aside his doubts about his new love, until it may be too late…
In Audition, Ryu Murakami delivers his most subtly disturbing novel yet, confirming him as Japan's master of the psycho-thriller.
