We used to have this as a regular thing in the group and I've decided to bring it back now. Please nominate any mystery/crime/thriller/true crime etc. written by an author whose last name begins with A.

A) You may NOT nominate your own book
B) Please make sure we haven't read your nomination in the last two years by checking the group bookshelf (https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...)
C) If your book wins the poll, you are the discussion leader.

Have fun! The field is wide open.

CBRetriever | 2551 comments I nominate Tensleep by Sarah Andrews because her last name starts with A

Working on an oil-drilling rig in the Wyoming badlands, Em Hansen suspects foul play when a geologist and a well-worker fall prey to fatal accidents, and the feisty mudlogger learns the truths about her supervisors

I enjoyed this because I actually had this job myself.

Katyayini wrote: "Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz"

Horowitz isn't a last name that begins with A -- would you care to make another choice?

Mike should weigh in (and get to lead the discussion if it is chosen) but I just finished the Netflix series "Department Q" which is based on the first in the series The Keeper of Lost Causes and both (book and series) are excellent. And dark.
