I'm listening to the audio, and I must say that the narrator is doing too good a job sounding traumatized. I'm finding I need breaks from listening.

Late to the party of first impressions, but thanks local library, I'm here now. This reminds me of so much: Alien/s, obviously what with the "in space there is no down" haunted house in space vibe, but also The Luminous Dead and maybe a dash of Blindsight? Sometimes feeling the references makes something come off derivative, but nope, this is working really well for me right now! And yes, Melanie, the audio narrator's anguish and frustration is causing me concerns for sure.
