I loved this book, and my son recently read it. I have not read the rest of the quartet. I wonder if they are as good. I still reference Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Whatsit.
I read this as an adult and loved it! I am sure I would have loved it as a child too. I haven't read any of the sequels, though maybe I'll give one a try this month.
I still love this book and read it many times as a child. There were only three books in the Murray family stories when I first read them. I'd say A Wind in the Door is okay but I also really liked A Swiftly Tilting Planet. Maybe I'll get someone to dig out my copy of it from the basement to read for this month, I can't go up and down stairs yet.

I didn't know about this book when I was a child but I'm sure I would have loved it. I've seen it often on lists of classic books and this month's tag seemed the perfect excuse to slip in a short, easy read! I really like Meg's typical teenage awkwardness and Charles Wallace is a lovely character - he reminds me of a modern cartoon where the baby talks like an adult!
It's particularly nice to read a straight-forward story about good versus evil and I wish I'd read it before.
