I figured out how/why I posted in the wrong thread... you have the links to the book 2 and book 3 threads backwards up top... so book 2 link leads to book 3 thread, and vice versa...

1) Gonna read this in a bit... book 1 of this series is the other one I wanted to re-read and pay better attention to the 2nd half of the good...

Awful convenient that this happened with 2 short books... then again, I think that's because the plots rush along faster in short books and easier to miss stuff if not paying enough attention...

Dwarf Bounty Hunter is smack in the middle of the Oriceran Universe of books... spread across 25 series and 250 books...

One series, the Academy of Necessary Magic, intertwines with the series... probably because of the kid he adopts, I bet...

3) Them Necessary Magic books are written by Martha Carr... no audio tho...

I assume this series didn't sell enough to be worth it...

Anderle is apparently the creator of a Get Rich Slow scheme... "not just the face of it, but also a member"... it's called 20 books to 50k... churning out books monthly, even if they all make small amounts of money ($7.50/day), that adds up to a liveable wage, since $7.50x20 = $150 x 365 = ~$50,000...

Publishes through his company LMBPN Publishing (London, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, New York, the 5 fashion capitols of the world)... he definitely knows marketing, I guess...

4) I've been enjoying the book for what it is, accept I'm gonna stop when we run out of audio, and follow the story better since I re-read book 1...

Fixed, and I think I know why it was messed up, even more... when I made the original requests, I had the tabs in the wrong order and requested #2 and #3--I put in a note to have it changed, but when I made the links I think I swapped them again remembering my error...

And finished, this seemed more disjointed than the first one, but like Iain says, enjoying it for what it is... the dogs are still amusing and I enjoy grumpy mentor + kid dynamics, so those continue to be a lot of fun. This reminds me of a cheapo version of Evan & Joey sometimes. Their dynamic was what stood out the most to me in this entry--growing pains of a new family and learning each others' boundaries--the bounty hunting case of the book fell into the background for me. Though--(view spoiler)[the alien being with her captured offspring getting help from Johnny was a cool idea. (hide spoiler)]
