What's the book that got you into reading?

The first book I remember reading and absolutely falling in love with was Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. I read it in 3rd grade and inhaled it. It's a young adult fantasy about a young girl who has a father with the ability to bring characters out of books with his voice. He ends up bringing a bunch of characters out of a book into the real world, including an evil ruler named Capricorn. Little me was obsessed with this book, and it definitely kick-started my love for reading. My favorite series that kept me into reading was The Hunger Games series (still a favorite to this day).

My first book was Janet Dailey “Bride of the Delta Queen” back about 79-80.
I fell in love with romance books with that book.
Years later Janet Dailey reissued all her books based off each of the U S states, under “The Americana” series. I owned every books in that series.
