how to improve my writing!

hey! i love reading and writing, and i have lots of ideas for plots! however, I’m having a bit of a writing slump. i just don’t know how to phrase certain things, and struggle with opening the story, especially the first few lines/paragraphs. do you guys have any tips? thank you so much!!

As a writer myself, I recommend planning and brainstorming ideas and it may even help to plot some scenes beforehand. And I’ve rewritten my first line of my some of my stories 10-15 times before really getting it right so don’t worry about it being perfect the first time!
