Hi! I've retyped the publication date and refreshed both the book page cache and the work rating stats, but the book keeps showing right before the unknown publication dates, so I've sent a message to Support.

Hi! You may want to reach them yourself for an answer more linked to how you use Goodreads.But, from the perspective of how I use it, after I reported the bug, they said:
"If you're on the desktop site or mobile site, you may be able to resolve the issue by clearing your browser's cache, using Chrome or Firefox browsers or by troubleshooting other possible browser issues. If you're using a Goodreads app, you may be able to resolve the issue by updating to the latest app or device version, or by uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device. If this doesn't help, I'd be happy to take a further look."
They also asked questions regarding how I use Goodreads, to help with the investigation of the bug, with a link to this help topic: I’m experiencing a bug or issue on Goodreads. What should I do?
I'll keep sending them any info that may help, and let you know if they discover what's causing the error.
I've been clearing my cache on a pretty regular basis because of weird issues on a music news site I read, and it hasn't helped Goodreads. This one is on their end.Thank you for reaching out. I'll probably do the same in the near future.
Bumping this thread with an update: Neuromancer still hasn't had its date changed, and another item (A Streetcar Named Desire, first published 1947) is now showing up way too high on my shelf when sorted by date as well.
Support said the developers are already aware of the issue and are working on fixing it.

Still present in my shelves, at least with Neuromancer.I've emptied the browser's cache, but it's still present.
Could you try removing the book from your shelf and adding it back?I have the same edition as yours on my shelf and it is working fine.
It looks like Neuromancer has returned to the right place, but A Streetcar Named Desire is still showing up incorrectly at the top of the list when sorted by date.
Neuromancer's working fine now, I didn't even have to remove it. Thanks for fixing it!
It'll be much easier to debug if the link for the problematic books are shared. Even when raising tickets please add the links for books.
This edition of Neuromancer has a weird error going on. Despite being published in 1984, it's showing up way too early on my bookshelves when I sort them by publication date:
Could someone please check if there's a way to fix this? Worth noting that I also have another edition of Neuromancer shelved that is listed in the proper spot in the 1980s, so I have no idea what happened with just this edition.
