Mark Moreland | 1 comments I understand that Goodreads provides tools to allow authors to make changes to books, but as a publisher, I don't see similar tools. Amazon, likewise doesn't allow me to make changes to merge editions into a single listing, so I hope there is a way to do so on here.

Most notably, our next title, Era of the Eclipse comes out in August, and for some reason the ebook and hardcover are appearing as two different titles rather than different editions of the same book. (Era of the Eclipse: A Starfinder Novel and Era of the Eclipse, a Starfinder Novel)

Our backlist is similarly messy (for example, our oldest title has three separate entries that I can find) — Prince of Wolves, Pathfinder Tales: Prince of Wolves, and Pathfinder Tales: Prince of Wolves by Dave Gross

Is there a way for me as a publisher to merge these or do I have to submit a list of changes for each title to this group or another support group? Is there something different I can do when setting up my book metadata either in KDP or my wider ONIX feed to make these mergers automatic?

Thanks!

Emmy de Reus (nyneve) | 20400 comments Please read this Help-article about merging versus combining.

You can request librarians' assistance to combine the above-referenced booklistings by moving this request to the folder Book & Author Page Issues.

Click the (EDIT) button next to the topic's title and pick the target folder from the pulldown list (only available for desktop/laptop, not in the app).
