June 2025: The Imp of the Perverse

I've not yet read this month's story and know only a little about it. There is a Wikipedia page on the story if members need to know what they're getting into before they'll read. That Poe wrote it (published in 1845), and that one commenter said the story was a deep psychological study of the darker impulses in all of us that could lead a person to murder is all I need to know.

Feel free to share your impressions of this seldom-discussed Poe short story here at this topic. I will.
