Is it possible to honor the person you lost and the damage you caused?

I recently published a memoir that came out of the hardest stretch of my life: grief, trauma, estrangement, accountability, all of it. It wasn’t written to be pretty, it was written to survive. I’d love to connect with others who’ve either written their way through something hard or found books that helped them make peace with their past.
