At the end of the book, he understands from the momentary expression of the woman next to him that she is actually the assassin and that he has been tricked. He realizes that she is the one who will commit the assassination and that the blame will be placed on him. He also realizes that the assassination weapon is hidden inside the camera that will record the person who is planned to be killed. I think another person later makes a comment that the agent's observation power is one in a hundred thousand, but the woman's acting talent is one in a million.
