I'm confused... how do you trade? And can you trade eggs? and how do you get more then 4 eggs? I just started really playing and looking at the forums...

okay, to get more than four eggs you either hatch 'em or freeze 'em.
to trade, go up to the top of your page, and right next to where is says User Control Panel there's the trade and PM (private messaging) options in parens ().
and no, you can't trade eggs. it's really annoying
