IBR - Ashfall by Mike Mullin

For those of you who haven't read it yet, just know, as the daughter of a geologist, I have known about the Yellowstone caldera since I was probably 5 years old. It is a real thing, and it is overdue to blow.
Not to make you nervous or anything, but you know...
The science in this book is pretty good, which I like a lot in a story that has a basis in science. It is one of my pet peeves when authors don't do the research, and this one did.
Not that this is a science book. It is a survival book, and a study on mans' inhumanity to man, as are a lot of dystopian books. But the protagonist is utterly human and imperfect, and worth reading about.

Maybe a little warning about the rabbit would have been nice. That was just a little too much description when a person is eating. I lost my appetite.
That's it? I wanted more. I will put book 2 on my TBR for someday because I still have books to read.
