I thought it was called Japan Untold, but I can’t find it under that name. It’s about an American behavioral correctionist who went to Japan to help Japanese teachers regain control over their students. Here are a few parts of the book I remember. It was Valentines Day and one boy didn’t get a valentines gift so he would wait for some girls who would leave a shop with some and killed them with a hammer. Another is, some Japanese students made bad grades and didn’t want their family to bear the dishonor of it so they killed their parents and then themselves. Once he went to the school one morning and a students head was hanging on the front gate with a note in his mouth, don’t remember what the note said. He would describe walking through the school and how he would she disobedient students form in gangs and hang out in high unsafe areas of the school.
