as far as i know about the issue i think they shouldn't be released but they should have less harsh sentences, though i could be mistaken on some details so i could definitely change my stance

I’ve heard people say, “They’re still murderers,” like that’s all that matters. But when someone’s whole life has been pain, do they not deserve empathy too? I hope we teach the next generation to see past labels—and to care, even when it’s complicated.


I personally agree. Not that it would be considered self-defense, but I also think that their previous life should be accounted for.
However, they did kill. That is something on a whole other level. I need to look into this case much more before I type something more out. For now, that's all the opinion I have.
