It needs to be someone shipwrecked or stranded.

stuck in the ocean on the ocean, as long as they are stuck. It could be a broken down boat, on a floating lifeboat, wading in the ocean. As long as they are stuck and can't go anywhere without help.
this book would work

I don't feel this fits. She's not stranded or shipwrecked.

Its set on an island but it doesn't sound like they are stranded. So this would not work.

9 people are sailing from what could be Rome to Troy. 8 of them are protecting a woman who they believe is the rightful heir to the throne of Troy. Many groups are working to stop them from reaching their destination, and pirates attack them. When the ship starts going down, they find themselves in unlikely pairs trying to help each other. None of them really like each other. When they wash up on shore, they are still in these pairs and end up having to aid each other in surviving, finding the others, and reaching Troy. It is essential to the story as the dynamics between them all change

The group is trapped on an island, which is a little town, during a storm.

I will have to say no to this. They are caught in a storm, and will be able to leave once it subsides. They are not trapped on the Island.

Would either of these work?
Surviving Savannah
A History of the World in Twelve Shipwrecks
(They were suggested by a sympathetic librarian when she told me that The Last Lifeboat wouldn't be there until next week)
