Hiya! Just wanted to drop in and clarify - now that we're past the first round, you don't need to read for all 10 letters before adding a new word. So if you'd like to spell something now without a book for I and F, go ahead! Just remember that the letters don't disappear unless you use them, so you will need to read for those two eventually

You're all amazing by the way

Jessica, we have scheduled Starstruck for buddy read…. Has L and P… (Levi Pritchard)"
@Dee, remember you can only use the first initial of the first name :)

thank you!

Isn't it: 4. MC’s first or last name begins with the letter?

Sorry 🙈 I'm misreading again or thinking of another challenge.

nope you can post as you go along or wait til you finish and do your 4 updates. it's your preference. i like as you go, because then you can comment on each other's thoughts

Don;t wait for me, you'll be waiting forever lol. Hoping to get more read after the kiddo goes down tonight

oooh, that would be good! :)

He is 100% today so now we have to try to undo all the bad habits we started while he was sick lol

Next book also has a F ..but Q as well

I'll move my I book up. Even if someone finishes before me it'll be good to have some I books banked

We can spell FRENZY with FRENZ (L3-L7) on top of the Y of HARMONY….It will also hit a double word square.
Shall we post for it?

i prefer FRENZY, as we can more easily use the Z in future words. doing PRIZE horizontal would line us up for "Z_O_" words and i don't know any that fit that lol

I agree with this :)

I'll accept either/both! The only rule is that the word has to be in the official Scrabble dictionary for the US or UK - so basically it just has to be a real word, whatever spelling

That’s the best I can think of 🤔

thank goodness - good luck with breaking the bad habits though lol

Great idea!
JASMINE =32 (A11-G11)
MASK = 20 (D11-D14)
Both words hit doubles so it would give us 52 pts!

NINJA with Double only gives us 12 pts

I had a book in the banked tab that worked for I so I went ahead and posted it! It looks like we have two Is though so we'll definitely need your book as well :)

Right now we have a lot of banked books so need to get the words submitted quicker.
Is everyone okay if we submit words once three people have voted yes?

BABYLUNLUN Alice in April N
TRIO The Golden Dragon's Unexpected Mate K
JANEYLOU Open for Business O

Scrabble is not one of my strengths lol. So I'm happy to let other people make the decisions on what words to submit!

This is also for a whole quarter of a year so I wonder if it's confined to the number of tiles in scrabble or if we might run into a Q again
