s really varies because almost all of her songs speak to me in some way. Maybe I’ll do it by era (but skipping debut bc I don’t care for it I’m sorry🤷🏾♀️)Fearless: 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 speaks to me because Taylor summed up being fifteen for me PERFECTLY. Like, she nailed it, and I felt so seen then. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 because I had the HUGEST crush on one of my guy friends and I was everything he was looking for in a girl, but he had a girlfriend and didn’t notice me. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 is the story of me and my ex. He broke my heart and didn’t seem to care.
Speak Now: 𝐈 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 again for my guy friend/crush. 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 me and my ex friend. She was a terrible person and I just didn’t see it initially but she only hung out with me to steal my friends and ruin everything I had done, all because she was jealous. Kindness goes a long way. 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 is my go to goodbye song. 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 when things get a little tough.
Red: ofc 𝐑𝐞𝐝 for my ex. Even tho he broke my heart he still holds a piece of it. 22 Is a pick me up song for sure.
So 1989 is one of my favorite album when I’m feeling up. I relate to them all on some level or another but going through the entire track list would take too long😭
Same story with reputation. (My absolute favorite) I love every single song and relate to every single one. Reputation makes me feel like a main character and that’s more helpful for me than anyone will know.
Lover: so lover is the same story as the other two, but I guess I can pick out some standouts. 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 is how I see myself sometimes. Like myself and others and it just speaks to my soul because it so real. 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 is literally every summer I get a new crush, particularly the one I have right now.
Folklore: Cardigan because that’s me and my bsfs song and she means the world to me. She really put me on and told me I was her favorite. Ima one ways she saved me. Also, exile.
Evermore: Dorothea is for all the friends iv loved and lost.
Midnights: Midnight Rain is just me. The entire first 10 seconds are SOOOO me. And sweet nothing. Sweet nothing is what I crave in life you know?
And finally, TTPD: I hate it here, because that’s the relationship between me and my music and books, WAOLOM, MBOBHFT, Down Bad 100% for sure, and, Clara Bow, because I play a sport and sometimes it’s like that
so long, london. TTPD was released when me and my mom were finally leaving a dv situation after a decade and this song perfectly encapsulates the experience. in my first listen i cried for my mom, and then i cried for me. but also loml, because when i showed that one to my mom, she bawled and opened up more about what happened to her. it just made us both feel seen. i’m emotionally attached to the album in its entirety, but those are particularly personal to me.

i love sweet nothing its so underrated. she mentions my irish home town too (Wicklow) and i was genuinely baffled like why has taylor swift been there

People suck sometimes so hold your best friends close, have a spot to decompress, & a song that wraps it all together like a present.
