There are a bunch more editions of Neuromancer with incorrect information that needs to be merged.

1. Neuromancer - This edition has the ISBN for a 1984 mass market paperback edition of the book (9780441569595), but is incorrectly using the cover art for the 2018 edition, which has never been used for a mass market paperback.

1. This is quite a request. The cover for ISBN 9780441569595 was updated on Amazon, and over 2,500 readers have shelved this edition with that cover. If I change the cover now, those readers may end up with an incorrect cover in their collections. If I ACE it and the edition is later merged with ISBN 9780441007462—whether by me or someone else—we risk having 2,500 readers with the wrong ISBN.
The librarian who originally created the ACE is still active here and may be reading these comments. Perhaps they’d like to weigh in on how best to handle this?

I put this thread in my TDL and will handle the rest as I find productive time.

Did a bunch of Wayback Machine detective work digging through archived Amazon pages to try to make the case for my point (especially since the current listing for 9780441569595 on Amazon is from a secondhand seller who I figured could very easily have just uploaded the wrong cover), but I ended up confirming that you're right. Here's an archived version of an Amazon page for 9780441569595 that proves there was a mass market paperback with the green background cover: https://web.archive.org/web/202003100...

With that said, the current cover art for 9780441569595 is the wrong proportions and sized for a standard trade paperback instead of the more narrow proportions of a mass market paperback edition, so I think changing it to the art available in that archived link might not be a bad idea.

3. I agree. The ISBN prefix is owned by Tundra Books, not by Ace. The Kindle format does not make sense at all and the ASIN is nowhere to be found and sourced dubiously. I feel comfortable merging this as an incorrect ISBN with ISBN 9780441569595.

One more quick note on 9780441569595: I found a photo of this edition's copyright page, and it notes that there's an excerpt from Gibson's book Agency at the end that is copyright 2020. I can't find a more specific date, but we definitely do have confirmation on what year this book should be dated as.
