Hi Paul

There is more wrong with this book than a missing page count. In future when the description is written in the wrong language please post in the Book Issues folder. The librarians who work in that folder can add your page count at the same time. Librarians who do page counts are usually new librarians or librarians without much spare time & this is probably why your request was skipped over.

Can you please give me a short description in English.

& World Cat (our preferred source for confirming page counts) Has this one at 482 pages . Can you tell me what (if anything) is on pages 483-484? Some things we count & some things we don't.

Paul | 29 comments Hello,

Thank you for your reply and noted about language barriers moving forward; I will make sure to properly put them in the right folder. Here is a description taken directly from the book:

Father V.C. Samuel has written one of the great theological works of the 20th century. He presents both the historical and theological backgrounds to one of the most important and longlasting Christological controversies, and offers an un-dogmatic and non-polemical explanation of the central issues. His approach seeks to avoid blame and suggests positive steps which can be taken to restore the unity which Orthodoxy once experienced. The breadth of this academic research are illustrated by the wealth of footnotes which make it a useful work for the academic student of theology as well as every christian layperson.

As for the page numbers, 482 is actually the correct page number count. Once again, appreciate your help!

Best,
Paul
