In a Single Moment question

So both babies are taken to the nursery (I wish they still did that here, I had no sleep after mine were born!) Michelle wakes up and her family meet her in the corridor, Tina is saying "we saw baby Donna!" I was wondering if maybe Dean and the children went to the wrong cot and found Leonora instead, then the midwife just assumed it was their baby when they were ready to leave. Just thought.
