How to add different translation editions of same book in my list

Hi,

When I try to set "currently reading" status to a new translation of a book like "The Brothers Karamazov" for which I have already read a different translation many years ago, the older version which I read too get changed to the new translation edition of the book even though they have different ISBN/translator/pages etc.

Is it possible for us to add new translation of edition of a book without affecting the prior translations with "read" status?

Otherwise it will look like we read a book even before it was published.

I believe this is an issue if we want to add different editions of the same books after repeated reading from different editions/translations.
