The book blends romance, mystery, and supernatural elements and I red it about 5-10 years ago..
The story involves a woman who moves to a small town and opens a bakery.
One of her customers turns out to be a shapeshifter or vampire, and a romance develops between them.
However, someone is after her recipe book - handed down from her grandmother - and tries to steal them, even attempting to murder her. I vaguely remember that they tried to run her over while she was riding her bike. The villain was also someone with whom she used to work in the big smoke in a restaurant/ bakery.
