Book recommendations for a new reader!!

Hii! i’m looking for book recommendations for either thriller/romance books or books like “they both die in the end” or books that will help improve my vocabulary OR books about self improvement?? i know that’s a lot of different genres but any recommendations? i’ve never been much of a reader but i really want to get into reading more as it’s actually so cool how there’s just a whole world in your hands on paper! i’m also trying to get off my phone more and what better way to do that than to read🫶🏻

sooooo i would recommend (a couple different genres and themes ,some could be harder for you since you’re a new reader and all, NO HATE)

Matilda is such a good book!
And Thin air!! (it’s such a good YA thriller book omg)
(here im kinda listing more child books, which these are all books i have read this year, and after this i’ll list more YA romance and maybe one or two adult romances?)
Cursed bunny. (im not sure if you would like this, to me it was IMMACULATE, but i do understand how different people’s taste can be)
You should definitely check out K.L walther (i’ll read anything she writes) Specifically What happens after midnight and The summer of broken rules.
The blonde identity was a cute quick read.
Breathing Underwater was good!!

Hii!! Soo, for thriller you should definitely read a good girl's guide to murder trilogy, or anything by dan brown. For romance you can go with Better than the movies or Betting on you by lynn painter; any book by nicholas sparks is good too! If you want to improve your vocabulary..honestly, just keep reading books girl :) since you will learn a lot of new words along the way!💐
