i haven’t read evelyn hugo either ! only carrie soto, djats, and malibu rising and my ranking would probably be

1. carrie soto
2. malibu rising
3. daisy jones and the six

it took me SO long to get into daisy jones. i was immediately thrown off by the transcript-interview format that the whole book is in, because there’s absolutely no monologue and it’s just characters speaking in an interview!! so yeah i avoided the book like 3 times before i finally decided to randomly pick it up. by the 50% mark, i was actually way more invested than i thought it would be and i thought that the book was such a fun time overall !! the vibes of the book were so incredible gahhh

OMG YESSS carrie is so REAL and i could not believe that she wasn’t a real person and this wasn’t a memoir. her character arc in this book is one of the best i’ve ever read, i love it
