9-1-1 is my fav show so i definitely recommend, its basically about first responders in LA and they respond to a bunch of stupid calls and also go through A LOT of near death experiences. I love it tho!!

the "Murdoch Mysteries" it is an incredibly interesting show!!! you have a detective who during the 1890s to early 1900s solves crimes using inventful techniques. there are love stories, insights into the racism at time and overall great stories which are well put together. in the last seasons it changes a bit but in that way it also shows how the world progressed at the time.
