It's worth it more for the "visual" experience (obviously it's words on a page, but I mean the descriptions of the world) and armosphere. I loved reading about this world and the pretty dresses Evangeline wears. The story itself is boring and all over the place. Granted I am not the target audience, if you're a teen I think you might enjoy it more.
