Versions of Chekhov plays - combine or not

There are many new versions of Anton Chekhov's plays. Are they considered different editions/translations (and should be combined) or adaptations (separated, with the main author being the adapter)?
I'm not familiar with this genre. Now most all of them are combined, I don't think this is correct.

Do not combine. They are like any other book. Those 3 links should stay separte.
