I'm going to start listening/reading this tomorrow. I need to make sure I'm done by Friday for Tudor.
I'm not so keen on the narrator's voice so I'm going to read this instead of listen. But I love Ezra's friends/roommates. they seem fun.
I'm loving this backstory for Ezra. There's been a small introduction to Jonathon. The Jewish religion is interesting too.
Sometimes a a major shock makes family connections that much better.
I'm curious about this ghost Ben who breaks the rules. I have my suspicions on why.

I love the friends and the family. I’m confused about how long Ezra has been out as trans and why he initially rejects Jonathan. I’m looking forward to his eventual resolution with Zayde, whatever that ends up being. And I did not see his mom’s Seder revelation coming!

I did, but then I read the Precis. It was in there. :)

Good bunch of characters. I love the relationship Ezra has with his siblings and his friends. It’s interesting that even being trans, Ezra is still functioning in the family unit as the elder daughter.
I like the fact that they are continuing to practice the Jewish Funeral Traditions for the Gender Identity the person claims, and not their birth sex, including the people who can and do help with those rites.
I finished. I found it a little slow but overall a good story about family and accepting them and yourself. The love story was sweet but almost painful at times with the on again, off again. 3.5 stars
