You can always try reading different genres as well. What I always do is I switch genres every time I read. So for example if I read a thriller then I will switch to romance or a different genre so I don’t burn myself out and switch it up to prevent reading slumps.
You can try this. Sometimes buddy reading can help you through books that you have tried once and can’t finish.

I can post a list of books today and I am not a fast reader by any means so I just want to let you know that. Also depends on the book and how it hold my attention.
oh sounds good, I am a fast reader but only if I'm interested in the book otherwise it will take me a while to read or I just stop reading 🤣
If we did both find something would you mind if we read like 3 chapters a day then discussed the book and once we are done we continue?
try reading different genres, that what help me, I switch between genre from time to time to keep. it also help me that I read more than one book at a time so if I feel one one day, so I read another book that day. I mean that what help me.
