Thoughts on Credence?

So I just picked up Credence by Penelope Douglas.. been binging non stop and since last night and when I say what the fuck I mean what the fuck 😭 I’m at Chapter 12 now and wow talk about dark romance! What are all your thoughts on it for those who have read it?

I took a few stops but trust is a good book and I really enjoyed it after getting use to the story line .

Credence is the type of book you finish and then stare at the wall for a couple of hours trying to make sense of what you just read.

There is no way I would say the characters in this book are complex😅don't get me wrong the spice is good but the rest of the story line is awful in my opinion... what makes a story better is the plot and it didn't come through with that. I really wanted to jump on the Penelope Douglas hype. But Creedence really didn't do it for me. Made me not want to read any of her others.

I think its a very basic read but in a good way. Not a single character is super complex and the MFC is pretty bland HOWEVER I thoroughly enjoyed the book and was content with Caleb getting the girl ;)

I hated this book and I've never hated a book in my life but it grossed me out so bad that it's an on going joke with my friends that if someone gifted me the book I'd burn it. To each their own who enjoyed this book but sorry for me it was a huge miss. At the end of the day it was a pedophilish book. The worst part is now instead of grabbing books on a whim I have to do stupid homework and research now on books before I read them. This book took the joy of me just picking books at random to read. Never have I ever been triggered and so upset at reading a book, why I finished it is beyond me but I will never pick up a book by this author again that is for sure. Again to each their own if you enjoyed this, I have a few people that did like the book I however was not one.

I LOVED this book. I thought it was really fun and without giving any spoilers, I thought the ending was cute in a way. LOL
