i’m going to try and recommend old & new books so you’ve heard of them!! look them up since they’ll be standalone & series 🐉.

OLD BOOKTOK [standalones]: the shadows between us; sorcery of thorns; a deal with the elf king
NEW BOOKTOK [series]: divine rivals duology; fourth wing series (the empyrean or smth); the serpent and the wings of night duology; the caraval series (to read BEFORE ouabh); trial of the sun queen series; never a hero duology; lightlark series; the zodiac academy series
NEW BOOKTOK [standalones]: the rose bargain (seems like a series though); quicksilver (also seems like series); an enchantment of ravens; the last dragon king; wings of starlight (retelling/fairytale); long live evil

1. Fourth wing - can't recommend enough
2. Mistborn series Brandon Sanderson book has amazing plot stories imo but needs time and patience. The beginning is tricky because it may take multiple attempt to start his book but once u get the gist it's like magic.
3. Powerless,ACOTAR,ToG, Folk of air, ouabh
4. Harry Potter and PJO are must u just can't skip them.
5. One dark window ( haven't read but heard it's good)
6. Stormlight archive series also by Brandon Sanderson ( needs a push start but worth it if u are really into plot and not just in romance)

I 100% second the stormlight archive rec, it's literally my favorite fantasy series of all time

The Shepherd King Duology (One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns)

I can not recommend these books enough. I feel like they are very underrated within the BookTok community. There are only two books which is fantastic and they will have you hooked immediately. Lots of fantasy and there is a romance subplot. Please read them!!
