You describe the situation well. If the drama or book is good, then I live with it but have gradually found that I prefer plots where consent is part of the deal.
But since the omegaverse is science fiction, I am willing to suspend disbelief.

This is exactly the crunch point for me.
They are all ruled by their hormones and seem to accept the semi-feudal society it creates.
When SSY is 'attacked' he is more indignant than anything else, indignant and angry that his alpha status is being disrespected. And he doesn't seem particularly upset about the actual attack afterwards.
Also alpha/alpha relationships seem to considered equivalent to same-sex. Earlier on a couple of gossipy girls made remarks but SSY is not judgemental just not interested.

I think we agree quite a bit. I was also a little more than surprised that Sheng Shaoyou was hurting from the attack, but not actually traumatized. As the drama went on, I went with the flow and am expected some sugar soon 😊

I have caught up and I don't think I can handle an episode a week. So I am waiting until I have at least two episodes to watch.

That is a good plan. I quite like having something to look forward to ... 😊 I watch other dramas during the week and then have sugar in the weekends.

In just over a week we are going on a 2 week touring vacation with minimal drama watching time.
I will have a couple of days at home before I return to work so I am planning a marathon binge! :0)

Perfect planning!

You are not dumb! It is confusing...

How wonderful! Hope it catches your fancy...

Hadn´t noticed that 🤣 But didn´t "The Journey of Legend" also include a shot, where Cheng Yi was holding a script?!
In low budget dramas, such mistakes can be forgiven but in big budget dramas they really should not happen.

I am looking forward to episode 15 later today as well.
All the main four actors are extremely well cast but I agree that Huang Xing stands out. Li Pei En as Gao Tu is also remarkable. There is a softness to him that works so well for this role.
It is also quite remarkable that they have been able to publish so much BTS footage without being cancelled or harrassed. I hope that censorship does not strangle their careers or persecute the actors in real life.

True, the fact that they were able to register it outside the mainland helps quite a bit, but the actors are from the mainland so it is a worry that they may experience persecution.
You have heard of the Yu Menglong situation, right?
Agree with you about the shirt stays 🤣

Yes, Yu Menglong or Alan Yu was an actor, who fell to his death in September. Depending on who you believe there are strings to some very powerful people who may have had an interest in him not revealing what he knew.
Three bloggers who first wrote about the scandal have been arrested. Marcus Sim from "Marcus Here" on YouTube has just released a biographical tribute to him, where he very carefully mentions some of the issues. It is very difficult to know what really happened but many seem convinced that Yu Menglong wasn´t a drunk who would fall out of a window. Defenestration comes to mind ...

The ending felt a bit rushed and with the GT-SWL situation I was 'How could you do that to us!' but otherwise I really enjoyed it.
I want to binge 'Blossom' and then sign up to Gaga00Lala for 'Kill to Love' and 'Secret Lovers'
I have watched so many clips of Secret Lovers I am wondering if there is anything left of it that I haven't seen yet!

I was reading news about that while I was away. If even half of the conspiracy theories are true it is very scary.

Precisely, it is difficult to know what is up and down! But something seems off...

I think many people were disappointed that Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang didn´t have an extended ending. But it would seem that they had more in the drama than in the novel. The show must have had an inkling that people would be disappointed and so released a lot of fan service clips of both couples. There is particularly one clip of them kissing which might have been nice to see in the last episode.

I was intending to watch anyway because I liked Bai Jingting in The First Frost but wow I think I'm going to make my husband watch too, it looks really exciting.

I am a more or less monogamous knitter and a monogamous reader but CDramas turn everything on its head.
At present I have 3-4 vertical dramas 'on the go'. I am watching 'Blossom' on Viki and am about to sign up for Gaga00Lala to binge 'Kill to Love' over the weekend but last night I couldn't resist temptation and watched episode 1 of 'Mobius' on Netflix.
Sorry, not sorry. It was great.

It just shows that you have great taste 😊 There are some fun videos of the two lead actors from "Kill to Love" answering quite decent questions on Youtube (with English subtitles).

I have seen a couple of clips from 'Kill To Love' Will I need a box of tissues next to the popcorn? Will the ending make me cry?

Yes and no ... (Trying to be cryptic 😊)

Now, I need to finish the book too to get (I hope) less rushed ending 😊

Glad that you enjoyed it!
Agree with you that the ending was a little rushed but not as bad as all those who were Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang-shippers made it out to be. I think they lost sight of the fact that it is rather remarkable that the whole drama was broadcast at all.
And yes, it was rather sweet that Hua Yong kept calling Shaoyou by his title all the way through. It feels like a little inside detail that made their relationship feel real.
In general, I think it was a good because of the four main actors. They worked well together and each had their own vibe.

I could have enjoyed another 3-4 episodes, at least.
"Parting is such sweet sorrow'
I really enjoyed the series so much and it felt like a breakthrough.
I love all the BTS available and I hope we see these actors in many more dramas in the future.

OK.... so I will get the tissues ready and I won't watch on the bus!

Yes. I have noticed that in other CDramas but here it was even more marked and kind of adorable. It is very reminiscent of Jane Austen.
I have got to ep.10 with "ABO D..."
Sleep is important 😊 So you made the right choice. Dramas will always be there...
I agree with your observations on "ABO Desire". I don´t know a lot about the omegaverse, but I sense that there are some underlying, problematic issues with the whole concept. It seems to allow free will to be put out of commission and that makes consent subservient to heat and rut. So the whole universe has issues!
You are so right that especially the Gao Tu character is beautifully done. Hua Yong is both sinister and alluring. If Huang Xing were a lesser actor, Hua Yong would be unalloyed creepy, but his acting lessens the ick-factor.
Let´s hope that the drama can land in a good place. If I understand correctly, the original is even more problematic....
