I think it might be nice to read something lighthearted that will help you reset. If you do end up doing that, then I would suggest that you pick up the The House in the Cerulean Sea— it is a heartwarming tale that will bring a smile😊 to your face. Or you could read Dreadful if you want something with a bit more humour.Hope this helps!
It also really depends how your feeling afterwards too! One super cute romance book you can pick up after is Archers Voice or Part of your world!
Sometimes, something completely different helps when you get in too much of a downward spiral. A Sci-fi romance or any fictional genre that you don’t normally read. I’m constantly rotating genres just to avoid reading slumps.
Okay, I have 19 books that I need to read. I bought them, but I have not read them yet! This is the most relatable thing ever, though.A few of them seem cute and light-hearted based on the synopsis, so for anyone who has read them, let me know!!

3. To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a wonderful option if you are trying a more light-hearted one! I personally didn't cry over it (then again I'm NOT an emotional reader) but it's a really easy read in my opinion and honestly, you can use it as a stand alone if you weren't interested in reading the next books! Hope this helps!!

Yesterday, I finished Liar's Crown by Abagail Owen.

I was crying for a decent 20 minutes after I finished.
Tomorrow, I'm going to start Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzzanne Collins (I might take a one day break after this too, I've heard there's tears).
Then, after Songbirds and Snakes, I will read Suzzane's latest book following Haymitchon his journey during the 2nd Quater Quell, Sunrise on the Reaping.
So, again, should I read one or two light and happy books after orrrrrr should I take a book break?
