One by one They Disappeared

It's not Dalton's fault, but I probably shouldn't have read it at the same time as Manning. The writing couldn't compare.

Ah. I know what you mean, and have done similar things with other authors. Also I can find it hard when one author is compared to a favourite author; almost always ends up disappointing.

Absolutely! This one was fun, very much in the Golden Age style. She’s no Christie or Sayers, but entertaining nonetheless.
