I think I have only read one by Moray Dalton, possibly this one. I hopefully have it on my Kindle.

Ah. I know what you mean, and have done similar things with other authors. Also I can find it hard when one author is compared to a favourite author; almost always ends up disappointing.

Absolutely! This one was fun, very much in the Golden Age style. She’s no Christie or Sayers, but entertaining nonetheless.
