I was really enjoying the series until I got to book 3 then I heard that anti-woke tard Critical Drinker’s voice. It was so jarring. Other than that I love the series

Makes me look askance at Dinniman. The company one keeps and all that.
I know nothing about The Critical Drinker and by the sounds of it I’m better off keeping it that way.But I am listening to the third book atm and so far his character has only been in one scene (view spoiler) so I’m not too bothered by his voice. It seemed like a pointless cameo tbh.

The redditors don’t like him either, and to address Trike’s point above it seems that it was Jeff Hays’ choice to bring him in, not Matt Dinniman’s. Still not entirely sure what the point was!
