All the books are interconnected standalones. They all are in the same universe and although the main connection is that all the stories are risqué, many characters reappear throughout the series. For example, book 1 follows a character named Hallow, book 2 follows her best friend, Lauren, and book 5 follows Hallow's brother, Brody. Book 6 follows Klaus and Belle during Christmas time, and book 7 follows them a couple months later around Valentine's day.
