If a book has been published, even if it is obsolete, it is technically valid. Do you know if this was actually published?

I own a copy on Kindle. I don't think any edition was ever published with a cover and blurb that read, "This is no longer available for purchase. A revised and improved version will be published soon." That's the edition that I'm questioning.
So the copy you own on Kindle has the exact same ASIN? B0DV9CGP4RI've started by removing the invalid cover. According to the logs the author added that edition and that cover.
I can't find the ASIN of the copy I have, but it's the Kindle edition with the publication date January 27th 2025 .Anyway the book page looks fine to me now, thanks! It all just seemed so sneaky and not a real book, the original thing is painfully AI-generated in the first place.
Looks like the author did this via ACE to put up the notification. I have restored the real description and added the cover from the original edition, since it was not a true ACE. The original edition will require a superlibrarian to merge.
