Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* (marcthedarc) | 154 comments The author appears to have created an edition that is simply an announcement that the book has been pulled out of print pending changes. There are prior editions in existence. Is this allowed per guidelines/rules about editions?

The book was published (in the editions that have cover art. I own a copy on Kindle. I don't think any edition was ever published with a cover and blurb that read, "This is no longer available for purchase. A revised and improved version will be published soon." That's the edition that I'm questioning.

Shim (slimmy) | 3653 comments So the copy you own on Kindle has the exact same ASIN? B0DV9CGP4R

I've started by removing the invalid cover. According to the logs the author added that edition and that cover.

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* (marcthedarc) | 154 comments I can't find the ASIN of the copy I have, but it's the Kindle edition with the publication date January 27th 2025 .

Anyway the book page looks fine to me now, thanks! It all just seemed so sneaky and not a real book, the original thing is painfully AI-generated in the first place.

Scott | 9331 comments Looks like the author did this via ACE to put up the notification. I have restored the real description and added the cover from the original edition, since it was not a true ACE. The original edition will require a superlibrarian to merge.
