[closed} Books added with title “BOOK 978******”

Sorry if this had been discussed, I’ve been searching but have been unable to find any discussions on this topic. I had an author reach out asking about a bunch of books being added to their profile with a title like “ Book 9781036701680”. They are on Amazon like this also. So I searched goodreads and found thousands of these edition added (see link below). Should these be marked invalid or deleted? Not sure how to handle these since they are on Amazon (even if the title is wrong)?

Can someone advise?

They are valid editions. Amazon and the amazon bot just don't know the titles and other data. You can rename them or this author can do it. The amazon bot may also rename them over time.

I would suggest they speak to their publishers or whoever is responsible for uploading data to Amazon.

Thanks for the info. I did tell the author who is self published to contact Amazon to correct the titles on their account.
