So I technically started this on Thursday but I was exhausted and fell asleep Thur and Fri while reading.

I only made it to mid chp 5

I was instantly hooked and intrigued by the story.
I now doubt everyone lolll
I know Elizabeth might be reading too much into it but I am too and she's leading me on.

I'm wondering if this was a group effort or if she was the only one who killed the teacher. Or why did her and Ivy and Jocelyn decide to never talk again... (hide spoiler)]

Definitely a page turner this one, she's building anticipation and I love it.

The moment she said that Noah is 10 years younger I guessed he was Mr Sawyer's son. I am very intrigued to see how this will play out.

It also looks like everyone except Ivy have commitment/relationship issues? What's that about?

I'm wondering if Jocelyn left a diary that was found by someone digging.
I even entertained the letters to my future self situation. But the fact that it is her university email and that "Hannah" responded removed that possibility.

I almost want to see if the name is an anagram, but I'm just enjoying it for now.

I need a sequel to know what actually happens because Noah can't leave it at that. Damn. I've been rooting for him all along!

curious to see if it's actually the son the teacher and his wife left behind. he might have been young enough to have heard some of the conversations so he can write them well enough from memory too

although interesting how much her mom prays. I don't think her mom forgot what she told her but maybe. . .but it's obviously not her mom

and yeah, there are so many details here - he'd either done it before (and someone knew his MO and copied it for her friend) OR it's Jocelyn (or they are sending something she wrote previously)

but I still wonder - why now? it seems an odd time to just start this. was it the mom (teacher's wife) dying that finally got someone willing to expose what happened to him? and why would someone want to make them feel bad for killing a predator? They are proving he was a bad guy. . .and would give them possible justification for a defense. hmmmm . . . (hide spoiler)]

like I was fine and 100% on board with her saying dissociative amnesia which is very probable and possible.
but it's not DID. and DID is so overused atm.

projecting her memories on someone else is completely feasible especially if she's been through the sadistic fucked up trauma she has.
It in no way is DID.
so I'm upset that she actually used that, unless her intention was to confuse and make us think that's herself sending the chapters... I duno
It might be the psychologist influence in me talking too.

that is so twisted - I don't know how he could be with her so quickly and some of their interactions (the punishment) just seemed like it would be hard for them to turn around and try for an actual relationship.

Do you think the mom actually talk to Noah and told him? Why else would she pull him into the hospital room? LOL Now I don't trust Noah at all!!
