Kuzey Nar | 1 comments We’ve all read epic fantasy stories, but some books stand out because of their unique worlds, magic systems, or storytelling style. What’s the most original fantasy book you’ve ever read, and what made it so special? Let’s share hidden gems and discuss why they deserve more attention!

Phauksee | 2 comments One of the most unique series for magic systems was Codex Alera by Jim Butcher (link to the first book Furies of Calderon). Magic is based on the six elements: earth, air, water, fire, wood, and metal. Unlike the majority of fantasy that I've read, EVERYONE has at least some magic, and the ability to call on the smaller elementals of every type. Some have greater abilities in certain elements, and can call larger elementals. Only there's one boy - in all the world, only one - who has no magic at all.
