Will give enough details for recognition if that is the book. If not, keep searching. Google Books. Worldcat.org. Search for teenage pregnancy runaway juvenile fiction and restrict by year.
Did you read this book in the UK?That should narrow the field a bit. Young Mother fits your time frame, but I don't know if the details match.
Was the girl in a home for unwed mothers? Or did she run away from home and then wind up with the other girls some other way? From your description, I was picturing a communal house.
Getting Free is about a teenage couple who go on the run together once they find out the girl is pregnant. She's not on her own, but they do wind up at a commune.
Fortune's Daughter has some similarities, is set in the US, and was published in England in the '80s.
There's also Fair Day, and Another Step Begun, which does have a pregnant girl running away and winding up at a commune.
Lady left the group. Moving to Abandoned.

This is all I can remember about the story, but I do remember that it was a book that I enjoyed reading at the time. I have tried to find the book online , but when I type in the description , I am sent links to another book called `Baby Love' by Jaqueline Wilson. This is not the same book.
